If it works don’t mess with it

Trying to tidy up my wiring, tried to unsolder my ultrasonic range finder. Very bad idea, a bit crap at soldering = very crap at unsoldering, and it looks like I cooked it. Very sad, will have to have a closer look at it later but for now am going with an infra red detector, less range means people will need to be much closer than I had wanted but it will work in a pinch.
