Although I love many forms of animation I don’t think I’ll be choosing any of my favorite animations, there not actually they type of thing I’m interested in creating. I don’t really want to be an oo lip modeler for Aardman.
I thought for a while about adding my favorite piece of flash animation, but although I enjoy it, its not something I’m that excited about.
I’ve looked through things I’ve added as favorites in youtube or old bookmarks and have a short list of things might choose.
I’m very impressed by this piece of work, to create a piece of stop motion animation on this scale in a public place is very impressive.
Animation on wall
but not what I want to do.
I love this, interactive media is my passion, not sure it counts as animation, maybe it does. I have seen better examples of this type of thing but I do like how tactile it looks.
Yes it move but looking for something more.
K.A.Huff
I have been impressed with Huffs work for some time, he specialises in high quality renders of abstract 3D models. He writes his own shaders as well as creating most of models through code. He has a few examples of time base works and altough I prefer the detail of his static imagery I do like a couple of his time based works.
A still form my favorite time base piece.

An excerpt of it can be found here

I love how slowly it evolves, its almost as if nothing is happening at all but look away for a couple of seconds and its quite a different image.
But after much deliberation I have decided that I’m going to choose an example of San Base’s Dynamic Painting.
Clearly this isn’t the best piece of animation ever or does it even come close to a great painting, but there are many things that excite me about this work.
Maybe its all linked to my love of music visualisation applications and electric sheep or maybe something far deeper seated.
